Our Sustainable Solution
The technology is built around sustainability as the core mantra. We contribute towards reducing the ecological footprint of the entire supply chain. Based on independent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of our process and the entire production chain we further reduce the environmental impact.
Together with partners we work for 100% recycled feedstock. The highest impact of our process comes from the feedstock. Energy and gas consumption are anyway low in the MMD technology. A feedstock that exists of 100% recycled scrap and is produced by a low impact technology makes customers lower their environmental impact. As a technology driven organization we envision to do this with all metals, including high-strength aluminum alloys.
In the winter of 2023 we collaborated with Scrapbees to print with recycled aluminum wire.
