The Molten Metal Deposition (MMD) technology and its capabilities
Molten Metal Deposition (MMD) is our unique single-step metal additive manufacturing technology. Metal wire feedstock is melted and directly extruded into the final part.
Aluminium Additive Manufacturing by depositing liquid metal in a 3-dimensional shape, that is Molten Metal Deposition (MMD). The feedstock is a 100% aluminium wire.
Removal of the build plate can now be completely automated or done by very simple manual handling. Bye-bye wire-EDM and sawing.
With Molten Metal Deposition (MMD) technology, we have proven to have repeatable, accurate and concise results for aluminum AM parts. Also with the traditional testing methodologies.
